Technical Assistance in the area of Strengthened Rule of Law (2004-2007)

CAJ was awarded a $3.2 million contract over 3 years from USAID to strengthen Honduran ROL via technical assistance, training and equipment to justice officials and other legal actors; increase capacity of legal professional associations, implement the Criminal Procedure Reform; draft, and promote enactment of curricula reform in Law Schools and training on the New Civil Procedure Code and; strengthen the Public Defense, including ADR mechanisms.
