The Center for the Administration of Justice (CAJ) currently offers an intensive course on the adversarial criminal justice system from a comparative perspective. The program is organized with several universities in Colombia, the College of Law (COL), and Florida International University (FIU). The course aims to provide a select group of students from various law schools in Colombia with a fundamental knowledge of the adversarial criminal justice system, and a particular attention to its operation within the framework of the American penal system and recent reforms that have occurred in Latin America. The course also aims for a better understanding of the changes implemented in the Colombian criminal justice system.
